We are Palaestra Gear — a Latina, female-owned brand born from the wrestling mat and built with purpose.

Our journey started in high school gyms, early morning weigh-ins, and long tournament weekends. My daughter / niece wrestled for four years, walking the same path her two brothers did before her. But we quickly noticed something different when she stepped on the mat — a gap. Wrestling gear just wasn’t made with female athletes in mind. The cuts didn’t fit. The styles didn’t reflect their strength. The market didn’t see them.

So we decided to change that.

At Palaestra Gear, we're here to empower all wrestlers, especially girls and women, by creating apparel that actually fits the female body — no matter the shape or size. We’re not just adding “female” options as an afterthought — we’re building them from the ground up, with the same passion, resilience, and pride that these athletes bring to the sport.
